Senior Associate - Client Management & Execution

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Institutional Banking team in Auckland.

In this role you will focus on delivering high quality credit and customer support for relationship teams across the Primary and Consumer group of clients and across the Client Management and Execution (CME) team more generally.

As the first point of contact for day to day requirements, you will look after client requests in relation to internal processes and other teams within the bank as well as taking ownership of the resolution of each these requests. Alongside this you will also:

• Assisting with the preparation of credit submissions using a range of business and industry analytical tools available to you.
• Helping the relationship teams with their credit/risk analysis to ensure that portfolio quality is maintained or improved.
• Enhancing the client experience by delivery of service that exceeds the customer's expectations.

Ō Pūkenga | About You

To be successful in this role you will bring with you proven experience within Corporate Banking, Finance and/or Institutional Banking. You will possess knowledge and hands on experience in lending, and an understanding of financial analysis, credit issues, risk management and debt structuring.

Your proactive mindset with the ability to think laterally and practically to identify and solve problems, will make you a great fit for this role. Alongside this you will also have:

• Sound understanding of accounting, legal and tax issues
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle time critical tasks with conflicting priorities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (written and verbal).
