Corporate Development & Strategy Manager

This multi site Health Care Service provider is one largest in the sector nationally. Currently the group has close to 20 practices, several of which are well established and have been in operation for over 30 years. The group is supported by a key strategic investor who is one New Zealand's best performing private investors.

Alongside pre existing practice owners, the Executive and cornerstone investor, the business is set to accelerate growth via organic growth, M&A activity and operational - strategic initiatives. As a result, we seek to appoint a skilled professional to work alongside the Executive and key investor to identify, quantify and deliver business growth initiatives, that will result in material benefits to the group and shareholders.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the management of M&A activities.
  • Identifying and managing the integration of operational synergies achieved through M&A activity.
  • Providing analytical support for key strategic portfolio decisions; location, service and other key commercial drivers.
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of improvement to Group wide customer services processes.
  • Management of communication and relationships with the Executive, key investor and practice network.

The successful candidate will possess ~3 - 6 years experience from fields such as Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Private Equity and will demonstrate competence in project managing change, growth and investment initiatives. This translates into well developed numeracy, commercial and analytical capabilities, complimented by strong communication and relationship management skills. By nature, you are highly organised and are able to prioritise competing demands.

Opportunities for growth within the business or related party businesses exist. It is highly probably the position will extend out beyond 12 months, or into a permanent position.
