Infrastructure Manager - Deal Advisory

The Advisory division of KPMG is a significant supplier of advisory and consulting services. Our advisors combine extensive knowledge of a wide variety of businesses and sectors to provide clients with a service, which adds recognised value. Advisory provides an exciting and challenging environment, which enables our global specialist knowledge to offer a variety of service lines to our clients.

The Deal Advisory service line includes a specialist team of infrastructure professionals who provide a number of key services to clients including:
- Strategy and policy
- Investment prioritisation and business cases
- Funding and financing
- Commercial structuring
- Transaction / procurement support

  • The Manager works as a member of a professional services team of individuals, providing services to meet a range of client service requirements. The Manager is accountable to the Partners and Directors for the provision of high quality financial services of specialist expertise to meet client needs. The Manager also contributes to the growth of the business through the identification of new business opportunities, building networks and relationships, and promoting the services of KPMG as a whole.
  • You will need to be good at building relationships with clients and colleagues, enjoy problem solving, have strong written communication skills and have solid numerical skills.

  • You will be based in our Deal Advisory service line and work collaboratively with our colleagues across Major Project Advisory, Asset Management, Sustainability and Lighthouse to support our clients across the entire life-cycle of projects.
  • Day-to-day you will be working with public and private sector clients supporting investment decisions, developing commercial structures, performing financial analysis and advising throughout transaction processes.
  • The advice we provide our clients has real impact on the way our cities and regions are growing and the resilience and sustainability of our infrastructure and urban development.
  • We want to talk to people who share our passion for improving New Zealand's infrastructure and enjoy working in a collaborative, high-performing team


  • Competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • University qualification in finance, economics, accounting, law, engineering or other related subject
  • 5+ years experience in public sector, banking, legal, engineering consultancy or similar
