The position of Senior Derivatives Trader forms part of a close-knit and exceptional trading team. This team is primarily responsible for:
This opportunity demands a high achiever, which will be evident in both tertiary study and employment. With qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Science, or Engineering, you will have experience in proprietary derivative trading ideally within electricity markets.
Structured, disciplined, and calculated in your approach, you will have experience in implementing trading strategies with a track record of success. Critical to your success in this position is a calm demeanour; you will operate and react well under pressure, and be able to communicate across a diverse stakeholder base. Finally, you will possess an advanced analytical skill set, including advanced Excel skills. Programming capabilities will be viewed as advantageous.
