Sustainability Strategy Analyst


Our Opportunity

As Sustainability Strategy Analyst you will provide quality information and advice to the Sustainability team and Mercury management to support sound decision making and deliver sustainability disclosures and recommendations for future work programs aligned to trends. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and sustainability reporting
  • Understanding what is going on with national and global trends in renewable energy, sustainability and ESG
  • Supporting a culture that embeds sustainability across our business

 

We are looking for:

  • Knowledge and understanding of sustainability concepts, reporting protocols and relevant guidelines (greenhouse gas, climate change, etc)
  • 3-4 years' experience with the demonstrated knowledge in statistical tools, modelling and analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand generation sector
  • Ability to organise and maintain complex/technical activities and handle multiple tasks concurrently
