This large multinational business has a strong presence in the ANZ region and is a leader in its field. It has undergone significant growth and is well positioned to continue this in both the short and medium term, and as a key supplier of essential products this business continues to thrive. This position will play a pivotal role in the company's ongoing growth through establishing and developing a commercial finance team on site.
In this newly created role you will be responsible for developing a new and highly commercial team which delivers innovative and insightful information across the product lines and customer channels and have ownership of budgeting, forecasting, profitability and margin analysis. In addition you will ensure a sound financial control framework by owning the balance sheet and establishing and maintaining processes, procedures and policies. Customer facing you will use your excellent stakeholder management skills to manage the relationship, buy/sell process, and reporting for key customers.
You will be CA/CPA qualified and be able to demonstrate strong commercial and technical skills with significant and in-depth experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries at a similar level. You will have deep product costing and supply chain experience providing visibility across product costing and profitability reporting. You will also own and drive the budgeting and forecasting process and provide meaningful insights across products, categories and customers. Sound financial control experience and knowledge is a must.
The role requires a true business partner and someone who can operate independently in a start up environment setting up new functions and processes. You must be a self motivated, strong communicator who is able to lead and drive change. Experience in a multinational environment is desirable and exceptional excel modelling, large ERP and data warehouse systems experience is a must. You must also be comfortable being 'hands on'.
Salary of c.NZ$200,000 (inc National Insurance and bonus).
