Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role:
We are looking for an Analyst to join our high-performing Business Restructuring Services (“BRS”) team in Wellington. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join one of the country’s pre-eminent Business Restructuring teams with excellent potential to progress and develop your career.
You will work with Partners and Directors - acting as Liquidators, Receivers, and Administrators - to manage a caseload comprising a wide variety of formal insolvency engagements. This will include hands-on work in the form of securing assets and records; dealing with varied enquiries from staff, creditors and debtors; analysing company financial information and records for avenues for recovery; debt recovery; preparing of statutory reports and returns (GST/PAYE); and liaising with external stakeholders.
You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of debtor and creditor-side advisory engagements, where we provide assistance in respect to businesses facing financial and operational challenges or crisis.
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience:
You will likely be tertiary qualified with an Accounting, Commerce or Law background
At least 1 year of experience working within the corporate or professional services environment
You will have a good grasp of standard business processes
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills are essential
Flexibility and a sense of humour

Working in our office locations
