INFINZ holds a number of events each year from monthly speakers to one day forums, to our premier events being the Awards Dinner and the annual conference.
All of our events provide networking opportunities, including the annual INFINZ Industry Awards black-tie Dinner at The Cordis, Auckland, attended by around 800 guests.
The Annual Conference is attended by over 400 delegates.
In additional some 50 breakfast/lunchtime/evening presentations are held, all attracting significant member discounts.
INFINZ publishes a Journal twice a year which is free to members and issues regular emails.
The INFINZ Mentoring Programme was established in 2014 with the goal of developing younger or less experienced people in the industry and providing a new and interesting proposition to our emerging leaders and young professionals. This programme aligns with the INFINZ mission to foster professional development and education of members within the New Zealand financial and capital markets.
In 2018, a "two tier" mentoring programme was established, providing a tailored offering for both Emerging Leaders Group (ELG) and Young Finance Professionals (YFP):
1) ELG mentor programme: Senior mentors will be assigned to a new cohort of ELG mentees, each of whom will be expected to mentor a YFP in 2021.
2) YFP mentor programme: The EL candidates that were accepted into the 2019 ELG mentoring programme will act as mentors to a new YFP cohort of mentees in 2020.

"A Two Way Street" - the benefits of those taking part in INFINZ's Mentoring Programme (December 2017 Pg 13)

Below is an outline of the selection and appointment process.

The Young Women in Finance group is a networking mechanism for young women in finance-related roles by engaging and connecting with senior leaders. YWF members have the opportunity to access the Young Finance Professionals (YFP) benefits such as events and mentoring, in addition to events tailored to support their professional development.
To access these benefits, YWF members will need to join INFINZ as either a student or Young Finance Professional member.
Students at tertiary institutions studying finance, commerce, business journalism and law can join INFINZ for a nominal membership fee. (If you're in employment, you may not qualify for Student membership, email admin@infinz.com to find out more). Attendance at YFP events and dedicated student events focused on how to get that first internship or permanent role. Scholarships to the INFINZ Conference to selected applications, and attendance at most INFINZ events are complimentary - an opportunity to learn as well as mix and mingle with potential employers, with heavily discounted fees to attend the annual INFINZ Conference.
INFINZ is influential in shaping the legislation and regulatory structure of NZ's capital markets and was active in contributing to development of the FMCA and associated regulations which are now in force.

We are very pleased to acknowledge the many organisations that sponsor our events. Their ongoing support is very much appreciated by the Board and Members of INFINZ.
All of the INFINZ events held over the course of each year offer sponsorship opportunities to business within the industry and to those who wish to gain the attention of the professionals within the industry.
INFINZ, can work with any interested parties to generate a portfolio of benefits from our events and can help potential sponsors identify how those benefits can deliver value to the sponsor, the people attending the events and INFINZ.
We aim to tailor each sponsorship to the needs of the sponsor and can tie together packages that incorporate events, website exposure and our biannual INFINZ Journal which is not only sent to all our members but also many other interested parties and which are displayed in the Air New Zealand Koru lounge
We also offer trade exhibit opportunities at the annual conference.
