INFINZ holds a number of events each year from monthly speakers to biannual one day forums, to our premier events being the Awards Dinner and the annual Conference.
You do not need to be a member of INFINZ to attend our events. Simply create a profile here and you can register, pay and attend any of our events. Your profile will enable us to email you notices of upcoming INFINZ events in your area and/our nationally. INFINZ membership gives you price privileges at our events. The monthly speaker events are cheaper for members, the one day forums are free to members and delegates to our annual conference pay considerably less if they are members. INFINZ educational events qualify for CPD hours for other professional bodies such as IOD, NZICA and the Law Society.

INFINZ holds a number of events each year from monthly speakers to one day forums, to our premier events being the Awards Dinner and the annual conference.
All of our events provide networking opportunities, including the annual INFINZ Industry Awards black-tie Dinner at The Langham, attended by around 800 guests.
The Annual Conference is attended by over 400 delegates.
In additional some 20 breakfast/lunchtime/evening presentations are held, all attracting significant member discounts.
INFINZ publishes a Journal twice a year which is free to members and issues regular emails.
The INFINZ Mentoring Scheme has been established with the goal of developing younger or less experienced people in the industry, providing a new and interesting proposition to younger members, and to encourage new people to join to be part of the programme. This programme aligns with INFINZ mission to foster professional development and education of members within the New Zealand financial and capital markets. The inaugural mentoring programme was run in 2014 with ten mentor/mentee matches and was so successful that it was decided to offer mentoring as part of our annual YFP programme.
Below is an outline of the selection and appointment process.
Designed for professionals in their thirties moving from subject matter experts to leadership positions. Dedicated events focusing on relevant issues for this cohort such as personal branding, media, investor relations and how to be more impactful with senior management and the Board. Opportunities are provided to attend events with your peers and senior members to build your professional network. Mentoring programme with senior professionals, and discounted entry to the annual INFINZ Conference.
Comprise members under 30 years of age. Dedicated YFP networking events, with great speakers who are focused on growing your knowledge of New Zealand's capital markets and how to get ahead in your career. Heavily discounted fees for membership and discounted entry to the annual INFINZ Conference.
(NB: The 2017 Mentoring programme for ELGs will be extended to YFPs from 2018 who will be mentored by alumni of the ELG programme and then to students from 2019 who will be mentored by the alumni of YFP mentoring program)
Students at tertiary institutions studying finance, commerce, business journalism and law can join INFINZ for a nominal processing fee. Attendance at YFP events and dedicated student events focused on how to get that first internship or permanent role. Scholarships to the INFINZ Conference to selected applications, and attendance at INFINZ breakfast/luncheon events are complimentary - an opportunity to learn as well as mix and mingle with potential employers.

INFINZ is influential in shaping the legislation and regulatory structure of NZ's capital markets and was active in contributing to development of the FMCA and associated regulations which are now in force.
