Miranda is the Chair of Meadow Mushrooms Ltd, one of the largest horticultural businesses in the South Island and the second largest mushroom grower in Australasia. And the Deputy Chair of Project Litefoot, a charitable trust that inspires New Zealanders to be environmental champions through connections with sports clubs and sporting heroes.

The winner of the Trade NZ award for exports in 1999, her executive career has primarily focused on the commercial side of agri based businesses spanning wine, dairy and mushrooms. With over eighteen years of governance experience, her previous roles were in property, FMCG and most recently at NZ Lotteries as well as time spent on the boards of community sports clubs. The mother of three sons, Miranda lives with her husband Andrew in Auckland.
