Dave has over 40 years' experience in the development and commercialisation of products and business in life sciences, biotechnology and medical devices.

In his capacity as Chief Executive Officer he has led Pacific Edge from its early inception from product discovery through to commercialisation as a global company with a market capitalisation of more than NZ$1 billion. Today Pacific Edge has four proprietary molecular diagnostic products in market driving Pacific Edge's commercial businesses employing 75 people in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and the USA. During his career, Dave has held a number of positions in governance, executive and senior management, joining Pacific Edge from Fletcher Challenge. Dave was appointed to the Pacific Edge Board of Directors as Executive Director in 2014.
