Gerri is the NZ Country Lead and Director of the NZ Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice in the Wellington office.  She is a sustainability and climate change practitioner with over 15 years’ experience in both public and private sector leadership.

Prior to joining EY, Gerri was the Head of Sustainability and Community at Z Energy; leading Z’s decarbonisation pathway, cli mate reporting, community impact initiatives, sustainable procurement, and waste reduction activities. Prior to Z she worked for central government for 7 years: first at the Ministry for Environment for 5 years, where she led the Carbon Neutral Public Service programme and voluntary carbon markets advice to business; and for 2.5 years at the Department of Conservation, where she led the Busin ess and Biodiversity Offsetting CDRP Programme.
