Helen Lane is an Associate Director within KPMG’s Sustainable Value Team.  She has over 20 years’ experience in providing strategic and operational policy advice at both central and local government levels.  Helen’s principal areas of expertise are investment decision making for broader outcomes, climate change and infrastructure, as well as wider environmental and social considerations.  Helen is currently working with a number of clients to ensure they are ready for the climate-related disclosures regime.  This includes undertaking climate change maturity assessments, scenario analysis and the identification of risks and opportunities. 

Prior to KPMG Helen worked for Waka Kotahi – NZ Transport Agency.  In her role as Manager Investment Policies she led a programme of work to improve the consideration of climate change mitigation and adaptation within investment decision making.
