About the role

Investment Services Group (ISG) is seeking a Manager Compliance & Risk to play a pivotal role in the governance and ongoing evolution of their regulated investment products.

This is a product‑focused compliance role, where you will be trusted to apply sound regulatory judgement, influence outcomes, and help the business navigate regulatory obligations in a pragmatic and commercially sensible way.

The role has responsibility for the compliance and governance of ISG’s Managed Investment Schemes (MIS) and Discretionary Investment Management Services (DIMS), ensuring products meet their obligations under the FMCA and related regulations while continuing to support business growth and innovation.

You will work directly with senior stakeholders across the Group, as well as prepare reports for supervisors and regulators, and will have the opportunity to modernise product compliance processes through better use of technology and automation.

This role will suit an experienced funds management compliance professional who enjoys being hands‑on with products, values practical solutions over theory, and wants to have genuine influence rather than operate as a “tick‑the‑box” function

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for governance processes, product documentation, and reporting, ensuring retail products regulated under the FMCA meet all regulatory, disclosure, reporting and supervisor requirements. Success in the role requires strong time management, problem‑solving skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across the organisation.

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Managing the ongoing regulatory requirements of Managed Investment Schemes (MIS) and Discretionary Investment Management Services (DIMS) governed by the Financial Markets Conduct Act (FMCA) issued under the licences held by Devon Funds Management Limited, Clarity Funds Management Limited and Select Wealth Management Limited. 

  • Managing the document reviews and the due diligence process, verification of controls, and update and co-ordinate changes to offer documents and associated collateral as required.  

  • Monitoring legislative change, communicating to the business where appropriate and assisting with submissions on legislative changes and guidance as required. 

  • For any managed investment scheme products, ensuring all offer document inputs are verified and signed off the subject matter experts, legal advisers and the supervisor as required ensuring these are not misleading or deceptive through misstatement or omission.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Financial services experience (5 years) 

  • Proficiency with the application of relevant legislation and guidance as available to ensure products and services remain compliant   

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Confidence in reviewing, interpretating and applying relevant legislation and guidance  

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, law or business (desirable)

  • Ideally, you will also be curious about how technology and/or AI can be used to improve efficiencies and improve quality.
