SESSION 3. Value Creation Understanding the sum of parts valuation is key to assessing whether your company or some other owner could add more value to the constituent business units. This informs decisions around capital management, divestments and acquisitions and is a base from which to assess any take-over offer. A clear understanding of the constituent business unit value drivers and valuation greatly assists in communicating the underlying value of your company to analysts, investors and the wider market.
