Our client is a provider of end-to-end wealth management services. Based in Wellington, this role offers a rare opportunity for somebody who is ready for the next step in their career and wishes to work within a team of highly motivated professionals.

In this highly varied service based role, the Associate provides support to a financial Adviser and the wider advisory team and plays a critical part in the delivery of exceptional advice and service to clients. You will have excellent communication and polished inter-personal skills enabling you to develop strong relationships and to work collaboratively across the organisation.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have five years of experience in the financial services or wealth management sector ideally having worked alongside a financial adviser or other professional services environment
  • Working knowledge of wealth management, including investments, lifetime planning, trusts, tax and insurance
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Demonstrable planning and organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and to perform well under pressure
  • Ability to focus on solutions and results
  • Strong learning agility
  • The ability to convey information logically and concisely in both written and oral forms
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative working style and attention to detail essential.

This role would suit someone who comes from a financial services, accountancy or legal background.
