The Solicitor - Regulatory Affairs and Corporate plays an important role in supporting the development of the regulatory framework for NZX's markets and New Zealand's broader capital markets. You will also help ensure that NZX complies with its regulatory obligations, including by assisting in obtaining international accreditations to support NZX's growth, in line with our strategy.
You will also provide legal advice across NZX's diverse range of businesses, including timely high-quality advice to Senior Managers on commercial legal matters. These matters include contractual law, companies and securities law, competition and trade practices, litigation, technology and e-commerce, intellectual property, banking and finance and other general commercial legal matters.
We are looking for a solicitor with a minimum 2 years' PQE, who has a strong interest in capital markets, ideally with experience in the financial services industry, or a regulatory environment. This position is full time, based in either Auckland or Wellington, however are open to applicants seeking part-time hours if their skills meet the requirements of the role.
