What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about economics and financial markets, with the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how markets impact our clients and risk management solutions.

We are seeking a senior analyst with approximately 2 to 4 years' experience to help drive, oversee and co-ordinate the economic and financial market research and analysis within the Corporate Treasury team.

We cover a wide range of foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity markets providing both tactical and medium-term (12 months and beyond) advice to our clients to protect against adverse movements in financial market rates and assist profitability. We require a committed and passionate senior analyst to work with the responsible Director overseeing and co-ordinating staff to help shape our key economic and financial market views.

What would you be doing?

This role is designed to support, and ultimately help drive, the independent thinking within our specialist treasury advisory team.

The role requires researching financial markets, analysing economic data and trends, and helping coordinate research and modelling within the team. You will be challenged with helping the team meet a group consensus and then articulating that view to clients via written reports and in person meetings.

What you'll need to bring to the role

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:-

  • A passion for domestic and global financial markets and economics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Risk analysis, debt, credit and investment skills will also be viewed favorably
