Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role
As a Director within ANZ Markets Commercial and Corporate Sales, you’ll operate at the center of customer engagement, markets expertise, and disciplined execution. This is a high‑impact role for a technically strong Markets professional who thrives in a fast‑moving, regulated environment and wants to shape outcomes through expertise, judgement, and credibility.
Working as a specialist product partner alongside Relationship Managers, you’ll manage and grow a diverse portfolio of Corporate, and Institutional customers across ANZ. You’ll engage at senior levels with customers, supporting them to address foreign exchange and interest rate exposures through high‑quality execution of FX and interest rate solutions, including derivatives, delivered strictly within approved risk, credit, legal, and operational frameworks.
You’ll bring senior level market insight and execution capability, combining deep technical knowledge with a strong understanding of customer needs, exposures, and treasury priorities. Through informed market engagement, you’ll help customers articulate their treasury requirements, align solutions to their stated risk management parameters, and efficiently deliver outcomes that support sustainable, long term financial objectives.
This role carries direct accountability for a complex portfolio of Corporate and Institutional relationships. While it does not have formal people management responsibility, you’ll demonstrate strong leadership capability; influence through expertise, acting as a trusted Markets partner, guiding conversations, supporting complex decision making, and adding value through sound judgement, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
As a senior member of the business, you will contribute to client strategy, portfolio management and commercial discipline while upholding ANZ’s risk culture and conduct standards.
Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
