As Home continues to grow and evolve, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join Home Capital Partners.

About the Role
Reporting to the CEO of Home Capital Partners, this is a broad, hands-on CFO role spanning a complex portfolio of housing developments, investment funds, partnerships and operating entities. You’ll move confidently between Board-level strategy and rolling up your sleeves in the financial detail – providing insight to support key commercial and investment decisions while remaining actively involved in management accounting, reporting, forecasting and the day-to-day financial performance of the organisation.

Key areas of focus will include:
  • Strategic Finance & Board Reporting – Partner with the CEO and Board, translating financial performance, risk and opportunity into clear commercial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Treasury, Funding & Capital Strategy – Lead treasury, liquidity, cashflow and capital planning across housing developments, investment funds and operating entities.
  • Funds & Investor Reporting – Oversee the financial management and administration of managed funds and partnerships, including investor reporting, governance and capital raising support.
  • Development & Debt Finance – Lead lender relationships, funding structures, project feasibility and financial risk across Home’s development portfolio.
  • Financial Management & Reporting – Remain close to the numbers, taking ownership of management accounts, forecasting, cashflow, variance analysis, controls, compliance and audit.
  • Risk, Governance & Assurance – Maintain strong financial controls and provide clear visibility of financial, liquidity, funding and commercial risk.
  • People, Systems & Improvement – Lead and develop the finance team while strengthening systems, processes, automation and financial capability to support future growth.
About You
You’ll be an accomplished senior finance leader with the commercial judgement, credibility and adaptability to succeed in a complex, purpose-led organisation. You’ll bring:
  • Significant senior finance leadership experience in a complex, multi-entity environment, with CA or equivalent professional credentials.
  • Credibility with CEOs and Boards, and the ability to turn financial information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong treasury, funding, cashflow and capital management capability, alongside sound technical, governance and risk expertise.
  • Commercial confidence engaging with banks, investors, funders and other key stakeholders.
  • A track record of developing capable teams and improving financial systems, processes and performance.
  • A genuine connection with Homes’ purpose and an appreciation of working in an organisation where commercial discipline and social impact go hand in hand.
Experience across property, housing, construction, investment/funds management or the purpose sector would be highly regarded.

Why Home?
This is a rare opportunity to combine Board-level influence, commercial complexity and hands-on financial leadership in an organisation with genuine social purpose. You’ll help shape strategy and investment decisions while ensuring strong financial stewardship supports Home’s ability to deliver better housing outcomes for people and communities.
