The Role
Reporting directly to Founder and CEO, the CFO leads finance, investor relations and commercial support as Aroa scales its global growth. You will be a genuine business partner to the CEO and Board, distilling complex financial and commercial detail into clear insight, while building a world class finance function.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning across the group
  • Own investor relations and capital markets communications, including ASX disclosures and the annual roadshow
  • Provide commercial support and decision-making input as the business scales, including modelling for new markets and partners
  • Partner with the incoming CCO and GM Commercial Ops as new commercial leadership is established
  • Lead financial due diligence and integration for M&A and strategic partnerships
  • Maintain strong governance, working with the Audit & Risk and Remuneration committees
  • Build a high-performing, well-structured finance team with stronger leadership presence

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Current CFO or experienced Deputy/Divisional CFO within a larger, complex organisation, not a first-time CFO
  • Proven experience leading finance within a global, high-growth business
  • Listed company experience essential; ASX exposure highly regarded
  • Significant US market exposure, including the cultural dimension of a US customer base is highly desirable
  • Strong capital markets, investor relations and Board reporting experience
  • MedTech, life sciences or healthcare experience highly regarded, though the client is industry agnostic
  • A commercial, data-driven operator who is also a genuine people leader
