Corporate Finance Manager opportunity | Mondiale VGL
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing international business and take on a broad remit spanning corporate finance, strategic planning, investment analysis, capital management and M&A.
Reporting to the Group CFO, the role will work closely with the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer and wider senior leadership team, providing the analysis and commercial insight that supports major strategic, investment and capital allocation decisions.
With operations across New Zealand, Australia, Asia and Europe, Mondiale VGL provides a genuinely international platform and the opportunity to work within a sophisticated private equity-backed environment.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Developing and maintaining the Group’s five-year integrated financial model
- Financial and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation
- Evaluating capital allocation across fleet, property, technology and other major investments
- Developing financial models and business cases for strategic and commercial initiatives
- Undertaking strategic reviews across key business segments and identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Preparing Board and executive-level analysis, reporting and presentations
- Supporting capital structure optimisation, debt financing and refinancing activities
- Supporting the identification and assessment of M&A opportunities, including valuation, financial modelling and due diligence
We are looking to speak with candidates with 3–9+ years’ experience across investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, corporate development/in-house M&A or similar environments.
The role will suit someone with strong financial modelling and analytical capability, sound commercial judgement, and the confidence to work closely with senior executives and challenge assumptions where required.
For those coming from an advisory or investment background, this represents an opportunity to broaden your commercial experience and gain direct exposure to the decisions that drive a business, while remaining closely involved in investment, M&A and long-term value creation.
