Embark on your career journey with us as a Senior Analyst in the Real Estate Advisory team in Ōtautahi / Christchurch. Our multi-faceted real estate services span advisory, transactions, and transaction advisory, embedded within a broader deals environment that includes mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure, corporate finance, financial due diligence, and debt/capital advisory.

Trusted with significant urban regeneration, housing, and both institutional and commercial development projects, together with challenging strategy and advisory engagements, we offer a collaborative, flexible, and supportive work culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with a team of experienced and like-minded property professionals.
  • Contributing to driving delivery of our engagements.
  • Participating in the day-to-day execution and technical aspects of projects, including developing and reviewing technical analysis and resolving complex project matters with the project team.
  • Development of project plans and deliverables to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Management and ownership of the delivery of projects.
  • Being a key point of contact on projects for both internal and external communications.

Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe, ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga  / Skills you will bring or develop in this role

  • 3-6 years of related industry experience.
  • A good understanding of the property lifecycle and property development process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to undertake detailed financial analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Some understanding of commercial strategies and knowledge of sales processes, including outright sales and structured transactions.
  • Some understanding of the due diligence process, recognising risks, and contributing to the development of mitigation measures.
  • Valuation experience is preferred but not essential.
