Transformation Design and Delivery - Associate Director

Kia ora,

At PwC, our purpose is clear: to build trust in society and solve important problems.

This is a place to keep growing. You’ll learn from the best, take on meaningful challenges, and make a lasting impact for our clients, our communities, and Aotearoa.

Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

Join PwC’s Transformation Design & Delivery (TDD) team in Auckland and play a leading role in shaping and delivering some of Aotearoa’s most complex and high-impact transformation programmes.

This is an opportunity to step beyond delivery into true transformation leadership - working alongside senior client stakeholders to shape direction, influence outcomes, and lead large-scale programmes from design through to implementation.

You will not only lead delivery, but help define how we approach transformation as a practice; bringing together strategy, delivery, and change to create meaningful, lasting impact for our clients.

Make a substantial impact in the following areas:
  • Transformation Leadership and Governance: Lead and shape major transformation programmes, setting direction, establishing governance, and ensuring delivery aligns to strategic outcomes and long-term value.
  • Programme Leadership and Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing insight on programme design, health, and performance. Step into complex or challenged environments to stabilise, reset, and drive successful outcomes.
  • Organisational and Technology Change: Shape and lead change strategies that enable adoption at scale, ensuring transformation is embedded and delivers measurable business impact.
  • Practice Growth and Development: Play a key role in building the TDD practice; developing people, refining our methodologies, and contributing to how we go to market and win work.
  • Client and Market Impact: Build strong, trusted client relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and contribute to the development of new and existing engagements.
  • Reimagine how we show up for our team. Show adaptability and care by adopting a continuous improvement mindset to shape how we care for our team and evolve our ways of working.
