As Head of Currency Overlay & Solution Sales, Danica is responsible for developing and marketing currency hedging and derivative solutions across Australia and New Zealand. As at September 2014, the Currency Overlay Solutions Group managed over A$18.2 billion of currency hedging for investors in Australia and New Zealand.
Assessing what’s going on in financial markets and what it all means for Australasian investors is familiar territory for Danica, having spent four years as BNZ’s currency strategist. She has also worked at both the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Her research background helps add specialist insight on managing currency risk in the context of portfolio management.
Danica holds a Master of Business in Economics, a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and has completed the CFA program.
