Tania is a Director of the Reserve Bank and has served as a Director of Mighty River Power Ltd for the past thirteen years. She is a member of the Waitangi Tribunal, she recently retired as the Deputy Chair of Landcare Research New Zealand and she is currently a Director of AgResearch. Tania is the Chief Executive of Maori development company Kowhai Consulting and further supports Maori development as a member of the Maori King’s Council, a Trustee of Radio Maniapoto and Tui Trust.
She recently published her first book – The Last Maopo; The Life and First World War Sacrifice of Wiremu Maopo.
