Treasurer, Air New Zealand
Paul is Treasurer of Air New Zealand, responsible for the management of the financial risks of the company from fuel, foreign exchange, interest rates and liquidity and is the company’s economic strategist. He also purchases the 365 musg of jetfuel the company consumes each year. He has worked for Air New Zealand since 1991.
Paul has a MPhil in Economics and MSc in Mathematics from the University of Auckland. He worked in the NZ Government Treasury as an economist before shifting to the banking sector and becoming involved in markets.
