Bruce Edhouse
Bruce has a wealth of experience in corporate treasury functions and treasury systems, having worked for over 20 years in various global roles working with front, middle and back office functions.
Before joining ETOS Bruce was most recently Managing Director of FiREapps EMEA in London, a provider of global FX exposure risk management software for corporates. Prior to FiREapps, Bruce held various senior implementation and Pre-Sales roles in Integrity Solutions, Sungard (now FIS), and City Financials (purchased by Wallstreet Systems and now part of ION group). Bruce has worked closely with over 400 corporates globally to deliver front, middle and back office solutions.
Bruce's roles over the years have included both small and large companies and has been responsible for developing and establishing treasury policies and procedures including;
- portfolio management
- payment system integrations
- hedge accounting
- cash management
- management reporting
- financial risk management policies
- treasury system implementations and project management
Bruce's key areas of expertise have centred around helping clients with risk management frameworks and hedge accounting implementations, including in-depth calculations of derivative fair values, basis point sensitivity and portfolio scenario analysis. Bruce has been involved with IAS39, FAS133 and IFRS9 implementations globally, assisting clients with their fair value, cash flow and net investment hedges, including the detailed testing and documentation requirements under the applicable standards.
Bruce is a member of Association of Corporate Treasurers in the UK, and is joining the Institute of Financial Professional in New Zealand (INFINZ) and Financial Treasury Association of Australia (FTA). Bruce has a large network of relationships in corporate banking, operations, corporate treasurers, system providers, accountants, auditors and service providers.
