Fran is currently New Zealand Media and Entertainment Editorial Director of Business and has been a columnist for the New Zealand Herald since 1997, providing expert coverage of both the political economy as well as of business.

Fran has been very supportive of the New Zealand capital markets with her coverage of the sector including an annual supplement, the latest edition of which was published this morning. Fran has also been an active contributor to INFINZ, including as a regular speaker at our events and as an Awards Judge.

Fran was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2019 New Year's Honour for services to journalism and business.
