Rob has been an independent director of thl since May 2013, and has been Chair of the Board since August 2013. Rob has over 30 years’ experience in investment management and corporate governance. He is currently Chair of Health New Zealand, New Zealand Rural Land Co., AUT, Environmental Protection Agency, Ara Ake Ltd and WEL Networks.

Rob trained as an economist and has worked in a variety of capital market advisory and governance roles over a long period. In 2019, Rob was awarded the Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) for his services to governance and business in New Zealand.
