Charlotte Rutherford is the Director of Sustainability at Fonterra.  She has spent 20 years supporting and driving how the Co-operative tackles sustainability opportunities and challenges.  Her time at Fonterra has seen her leading Fonterra’s 9,000 dairy farming families to be world leading in their sustainability practices, reporting and ambitions through unique change management initiatives including delivering Fonterra’s world class Farm Environment Plan Service, Farm Insight Reports and the Co-operative Difference.  Charlotte has led the teams responsible for water, climate, research and development, animal welfare and food safety for New Zealand’s largest dairy processor.

Charlotte is currently working closely with Fonterra’s customers to ensure the Co-operatives strategic ambition to lead in sustainability is realised on the global stage.
