Kevin has extensive senior leadership experience in NZ’s primary sector. He is Chief Financial Officer for Ravensdown. 

Prior to joining Ravensdown in March 2023, Kevin was Chief Operating Officer for Farmlands Co-operative where he was responsible for supply chain, integrated planning, manufacturing, freight & logistics, establishing the “Fern Energy” Joint Venture, and starting a multi-year transformation programme. Before this he was Farmlands’ Chief Financial Officer for three years responsible for strategy and finance.  

This followed from senior leadership roles in Banking and Private Equity in Australia and New Zealand, including National Manager, Rural-Corporate and Head of Agri-Capital for ASB Bank. He was a corporate & tax lawyer and chartered accountant in the early part of his career and sits on several external boards as an independent non-executive director.  Kevin holds B.Com., LLB degrees from Otago University and a Law Masters (Honours) degree from Victoria University. He has completed strategic management and leadership courses with Macquarie Graduate School of Management and Stanford University (SMM). 

Born and raised in Southland, Kevin owns a dry-stock farm in that region and is passionate about the strategic opportunities for New Zealand’s primary sector.
