Mark is currently the Chair of Meridian and Summerset Group Holdings Limited. He is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD and is former Chair of Freightways Limited, Spark New Zealand Limited, Willis Bond Capital and Transpower New Zealand Limited.

Mark retired from the board of ANZ NZ at the end of December.  He is also a former board member of the Financial Markets Authority and the advisory board to NZ Treasury.

Mark was the Deloitte Top 200 companies Chair of the year in 2022, and early this year was awarded the NZ Shareholders Association Beacon Award.
