Sir Robert McLeod, KNZM is a professional director, fellow chartered accountant and barrister sole. 

He is a retired NZ and Australasian CEO and managing partner of EY and was the firm’s New Zealand chairman during calendar 2015 after which he retired from the firm.  Sir Rob is Chair of NZX-listed Sanford Ltd and Port of Tauranga Ltd.  He is Chair of Nati Growth Ltd, (formerly Ngāti Porou Holding Company), and is a director of China Construction Bank (New Zealand) and several private investment companies.  

His past directorships include ANZ National Bank, Sky City Entertainment Group and Telecom NZ Ltd.  He was a Commissioner of the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission, Chair of Aotearoa Fisheries Ltd (now Moana Ltd), and a director of Tainui Group Holdings Ltd.  He is also a past Chairman of the New Zealand Business Roundtable, was a member of the Capital Markets Taskforce and was Lead Negotiator for Te Haeata (Ngati Porou Treaty Settlement Committee).  

Sir Rob was knighted in 2019 for his services to business and to Māori. He is presently a Chief Crown Negotiator for Te Tari Whakatau.
