Bowen Pan is a Kiwi who led the creation of Facebook Marketplace, now used by over a billion monthly users, and held senior roles at Meta, Stripe, Common Room and Trade Me. He holds eight US patents.

Now back in Aotearoa, Bowen serves on the boards of Milford Asset Management and NZME, advises Revolut New Zealand and the University of Auckland Business School, and works with several high-growth startups, including Partly and Marloo. 

Bowen returned to New Zealand in 2025 and co-founded Growth NZ, an independent non-partisan group focused on the policy and structural conditions needed to lift New Zealand's GDP per capita so our kids don't just grow up here - they choose to stay. Growth NZ's work spans education, innovation, tax, investment/infrastructure and talent.
