Pip Greenwood is a distinguished corporate leader and governance expert. She was appointed to the Board of Westpac New Zealand Limited in 2019 and became its Chair in October 2021. As of 1 August 2025, Pip also serves as a Director on the Board of Westpac Banking Corporation. In addition to her role at Westpac, Pip is the elected Chair of The a2 Milk Company Limited, where she has been a Director since July 2019. She recently concluded her tenure as a Director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation on 1 September 2025 and previously held directorships at Spark New Zealand and Vulcan Steel. Prior to her transition into full-time governance, Pip was a leading figure in corporate law. She spent 18 years as a partner at Russell McVeagh, one of New Zealand’s premier commercial law firms, where she also served on the firm’s Board for over a decade, including terms as Chair and interim CEO. Her legal expertise spans capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Pip has been recognised with numerous accolades, including five-time winner of New Zealand’s “Dealmaker of the Year” at the Australasian Law Awards and finalist for Chair of the Year at the 2025 Deloitte Top 200 Awards. |
