INFINZ Deputy Chair Appointed

I am pleased to announce that Louise Tong has been appointed by the board to the new role of Deputy Chair of INFINZ. In addition to supporting both our Executive Director and me, it is intended that Louise will succeed me as Chair when I retire from the INFINZ board in November next year

Louise is Head of Capital Markets & Tax at Contact, with responsibilities including managing a $2bn BBB funding portfolio and recently initiated and launched New Zealand's first Green Borrowing Programme (also a world first).

Whilst a Board member over the last four years, Louise has initiated the YFP speed dating event, the recent inaugural Treasurers' forum, the first pre-conference Treasury Masterclass last year and the launch and revamp of the YFP & Emerging Leaders Mentoring programmes.

The 2017 end of year drinks and AGM will be held Tuesday 14 November at a venue in the Viaduct in Auckland. More details will follow.
